RTS Camera Pro is a fully functional and extremely easy to use drag-and-drop camera script with full support for mouse and keyboard movement, target following, and more!

Although designed specifically with Real Time Strategy games in mind, it’s a great camera script for any overhead view game: Role-Playing Games (RPG), Turn-Based Strategy (TBS), Board Games, and Puzzle Games.

Features:

• Fully Customizable through the Unity inspector or scripting
• Keyboard and Mouse move, rotate, tilt, and zoom
• Mouse Screen Edge movement and Click-and-Hold Pan
• Customizable Smoothing weights
• Target Following
• Camera collision detection to ensure target visibility (optional)
• Smooth Transitions between targets
• Callback Events for automatic notification when player cancels a follow (if enabled)
• Allows player to switch between follow and manual movement (if enabled)
• Can be configured to force “follow behind” (if enabled)
• Terrain Following
• Customizable terrain following using either fixed height, unity Physics, or callback functions
